The Department of French, Hispanic, and Italian Studies (FHIS) warmly invites graduate students and faculty to participate in the biannual Graduate Student Symposium—a dynamic forum for intellectual exchange and scholarly collaboration.
Bringing together emerging scholars pursuing MA and PhD degrees in French and Hispanic Studies, this symposium fosters meaningful discussions across languages, cultures, and disciplines. Graduate students will present their research on a wide range of topics, including literature and literary theory, cultural studies, film and media, linguistics, translation, history, philosophy, migration studies, digital humanities, environmental approaches, and more.
Presentations will be delivered in English, French and Spanish.
