Nancy Ofori is a second-year Master’s student in the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies at the University of British Columbia. She holds a B.A. in French (2021) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). Her research interests lie at the intersection of language teaching, sociolinguistics, and French studies, with a particular focus on linguistic insecurity experienced by Black people in teaching and educational spaces. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and watching movies.
