About

Magali is a Lecturer (French), and has taught in various capacities at UBC since 2015 (Teaching Assistant, Sessional, Instructor), and at the University of Victoria prior to coming to Canada.

Magali’s position in the FHIS Department is centered on fostering undergraduate student involvement and academic development both inside and outside the classroom. She teaches language courses at the 100, 200, and 300 levels, with a focus on helping students explore the vibrant diversity of the Francophone world through music, art, literature, cuisine, and more.

She is also a member of the French Placement Committee and has designed the hybrid course for FREN 101-102.

Beyond FHIS, she helps promote the culture by teaching yoga in French!
