Fabiola del Rincón Fernández is a second-year doctorate student at UBC. Her interdisciplinary research examines the conceptualization of memory in the literary/artistic work of contemporary female authors from Latin America and the Caribbean who have migrated within the transatlantic context.

She holds a BA in Hispanic Philology and a BA in English Studies from the University of Salamanca, as well as a Master’s Degree in Literary Theory, Comparative Literature and Latin American and Spanish Literatures from the same institution.  She also received a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Granada.

She writes poetry and fiction.
