About

I am currently studying the PhD program in Hispanic Studies at the University of British Columbia; my research regards pictorial art and visual narrative through the concept of narrative space – reconciled visual in the first wordless picture book of Don Quijote de la Mancha. I also obtained a Master’s degree in Languages-linguistics-literatures-cultures from the University of Calgary, Canada 2024. Furthermore, I got a BA in Spanish and Literature. Spanish and Audio Visual Communication Program. School of Education. Technological University of Pereira, Colombia. 2019. I have worked as a Spanish teacher, also in several editorial projects, I have published a number of poems and short stories in magazines of national circulation in Colombia, and I have experience managing cultural projects.

  • Teaching Spanish in alternative ways applied the relationship between image and the text
