Laurence Gauvreau
About
M.A., Simon Fraser University
I’m from Montreal, where I’ve completed my undergraduate literature degree at University of Montreal. I moved to Vancouver to complete a Master degree in the same field and, like many Quebecers, I fell in love with the province of British Columbia! The interest in French in BC appears on the rise, which touches me deeply because we unfortunately struggle to keep that language alive in Montreal.
Since my arrival, I’ve started to teach French as a second language in post-secondary institutions, and I’m also working as an improvisation coach for the Conseil Jeunesse Francophone de la C.-B.
