The Department of French, Hispanic & Italians Studies congratulates Avril Espinosa-Malpica who is the recipient of the 2017 Arts Co-op Student of the Year award!
Avril, who is a combined major in Economics and Political Science with a minor in French, was nominated for her impressive work as a Trade Commissioner Assistant with Global Affairs Canada Trade Commissioner Service (TCS). The adjudication committee was impressed by the personal and professional growth Avril experienced from being in the Arts Co-op Program, her outstanding employer recommendation letter, the impact she had in the workplace, her academic accomplishments, and her contributions to co-op and the community. She excelled in all the areas the award seeks to recognize.
