The Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) is an opportunity to work in France for a seven-month period teaching English to French students of all ages. Each year, around 200 positions are offered to Canadian citizens and permanent residents (aged between 20 and 35) to teach in public schools throughout metropolitan France and its overseas regions such as French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and La Réunion.
Through this program, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain valuable teaching experience abroad;
- Improve their French language skills;
- Live in a European country and discover French culture;
- Work up to 12 hours per week and receive a stipend from the French Ministry of Education.
