FHIS Graduation Celebration (Virtual)

DATE
Wednesday June 2, 2021
TIME
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

The Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies (FHIS) is hosting a virtual celebration for the Graduating Class of 2021! 🎉

To make up for the lack of in-person celebrations this year, this virtual event is an opportunity for you to interact with your classmates and faculty members again—possibly even for the last time—before starting an exciting new stage of your life!

It is also a chance for the entire FHIS community, along with your friends and family, to join you in celebrating this incredibly important milestone.

Event program:

  • Opening remarks
  • Special presentation
  • Trivia game
  • Small-group conversation (guided and open discussion)
  • Congratulatory toast!

Who is invited:

  • Students who are graduating in Spring 2021, both undergraduate and graduate, who have pursued a major, minor, honours, MA, or PhD in any of the FHIS programs
  • FHIS faculty members
  • FHIS master’s and doctoral students (including those who are not graduating yet)
  • Friends and family members of the graduating students—feel free to send them this RSVP form so they can get the Zoom link!

Oh, and one last thing:

Make sure to bring a beverage of your choice for our congratulatory toast, to wrap up the event! 🥂

Registration is now closed.
