About
I am currently studying the PhD program in Hispanic Studies at the University of British Columbia; my research regards pictorial art and visual narrative through the concept of narrative space – reconciled visual in the first wordless picture book of Don Quijote de la Mancha. I also obtained a Master’s degree in Languages-linguistics-literatures-cultures from the University of Calgary, Canada 2024. Furthermore, I got a BA in Spanish and Literature. I have worked as a Spanish teacher, also in several editorial projects, I have published a number of poems and short stories in magazines of national circulation in Colombia, and I have experience managing cultural projects.

- Creative reading and picture book format
- Analysis of the ekphrasis and reverse ekphrasis applied in the adaptation of classic literature to visual formats
- The construction of new visual-reading codes applied to the reading and dissemination of the literature of the golden age, the elaboration of books, cultural diversity
- Teaching Spanish in alternative ways applied the relationship between image and the text
