Pooja Booluck-Miller and Joel Akinwumi, two PhD students of French Studies from UBC’s Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies (FHIS), were recently awarded the Prix François-Paré for their papers at the 2021 International Conference of the Association des professeurs des littératures acadienne et québécoise de l’Atlantique (APLAQA), which was held at the University of New Brunswick on October 20-24th.
