The Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies invites applications to teach the following courses in Summer Session 2018.

All applicants must provide:
- a letter of application, including i) a list of courses to which the application relates, ii) a statement of teaching philosophy, iii) an indication of availability throughout the relevant term;
- an up-to-date CV, including a detailed list of post-secondary courses previously taught.
External applicants should additionally provide:
- if available, peer evaluations of teaching;
- names and contact information of 3 referees.
Minimum qualifications: M.A. or equivalent in related area and post-secondary teaching experience. Ph.D. students in the FHIS Department who have passed candidacy are in principle eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with a doctorate.
All positions are governed by UBC’s “Agreement and Conditions of Appointment for Sessional Lecturers” and are offered subject to funding and adequate enrolments. Scheduled days and times are also subject to change. Only candidates being considered for appointment will be contacted.
