The Ximena Osegueda Prize 2014



The Department of French, Hispanic & Italian Studies congratulates the following recipients of the Ximena Osegueda Prize 2014 :

Juan Felipe Hernandez: “El peso de la historia en La vorágine como “documento de denuncia”

Karen O’Regan: “Espacios transgresivos: negociando la liminalidad en Te doy mis ojos (2003) de Icíar Bollaín”.

Carl Ruest: “Le passé composé en ancient français: Une analyse de La chanson de Roland”.

The Ximena Osegueda Prize is awarded every year to three graduate students, one in French, one in Hispanic Studies and one in linguistics who have been selected for the best essay in a graduate seminar.
