Chiara Falangola has been Lecturer of Italian at UBC since July 2021. She was previously Assistant and then Associate Professor of French and Italian at Rhode Island College, USA (2014-2021), and Instructor of French at the University of New Brunswick (2013-2014). In the States, she was the lone full-time faculty, coordinator, and advisor of the Italian and French programs, and she developed and taught lower- and upper-level courses in language, culture, literature, and cinema across the Italian and French curricula.
