Patricio is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Studies, researching texts about America’s Southern Cone nature (Patagonia and Pampas). Focusing on the intersection of Affective theory and Ecocritical analysis, Patricio investigates how nature and culture have been perceived in post-Independence travel writing, gauchesca literature, and contemporary novels about the region. He holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Buenos Aires. He has also studied environmentalism at FLACSO (Faculty of Latin American Social Sciences). Furthermore, Patricio has researched at the University of Buenos Aires and has taught Social Sciences and Spanish courses for several years.
