 You are invited to a guest lecture by Dr. Keith Busby\, a major scholar in 
 the field of Arthurian Studies\, as he presents an overview of his career i
 n Philology and Medieval Literature Studies.</p><p>The presentation will be
  held in English and is open to all undergraduate students\, graduate stude
 nts\, and faculty members from various programs and departments who are int
 erested. It is part of the Graduate Seminar "French 578: Romance Philology"
 .</p><p><strong>About the presenter:</strong></p><p><a href="https://frit.w
 isc.edu/staff/busby-keith/">Dr. Keith Busby</a> is a Douglas Kelly Professo
 r Emeritus of Medieval French at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Fe
 llow of the Medieval Academy of America. His previous positions were at the
  Universities of Utrecht and Leiden\, The Netherlands\, and the University 
 of Oklahoma. He has held visiting appointments at The Getty Museum\, Los An
 geles\, the Universities of Bristol and Durham (UK)\, the National Universi
 ty of Ireland\, Galway\, the École Nationale des Chartes\, Paris\, and has 
 been Visiting Fellow at Magdalen College\, Oxford (UK). He has also been In
 ternational President of the International Arthurian Society and the Intern
 ational Courtly Literature Society. His research interests are in Old Frenc
 h literature of the 12<sup>th</sup> through the 14<sup>th</sup> centuries\,
  particularly textual editing and philology\, codicology\, and the historic
