 guerra del Salento</em>\, a film that director Marco Pollini based on the n
 ovel of the same name by Bruno Contini in 2018\, is the story of the first 
 Italian football fan to lose his life over a football match. The film\, set
  between 1948 and 1949\, is about Antonio\, a young boy from Supersano who 
 loses his life following the clashes that took place after the football mat
 ch between Ruffano and Supersano\, two villages in the province of Lecce. T
 his story not only revolves around football rivalry\, but also passion for 
 the sport\, the desire for revenge\, and the love between two boys. <strong
