About the talk:

Dr. Isabelle Delage-Béland will present her TLEF funded project (2024-2026) to redesign and modernize FHIS French grammar courses (FREN 352 a nd FREN 353). She will be joined by Emmy Issartial\, Hannah Marincak\, Lily Lou\, and Ria Yang. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Anne Salamon .

The session will aim\, among other objectives\, to share strategies for making complex and sometimes intimidating concepts more engagi ng and accessible for a diverse student body. Former students of F REN 352 and FREN 353 will speak about their experience creating lea rning materials for their peers. Additionally\, an innovative assessment model that can be adapted to various teaching conte xts will be presented. As such\, the session is intended for a broad and di verse audience.

The event will be held in English.
