About the talk:
Have you ever felt nervous about how you speak a language? Who decides what counts as “correct” in a language, and how does this affect those learning or teaching it? In this presentation, Sarah Huxley and Nancy Ofori will share their MA research projects, looking at linguistic insecurity in diverse language learning and teaching environments in conversation with their supervisor, Dr. Marie-Eve Bouchard.
