The FHIS Graduate Student Symposium serves as a platform where gr aduate students at various stages of their program come together to share t heir work\, exchange ideas\, and build connections across linguistic and cu ltural boundaries.
The title of this year's symposium\, "Weav ing Knowledges Through Languages\, Cultures\, and Literatures\," r eflects a core conviction: that knowledge is not produced in isolation\, bu t woven together through the encounter of languages\, traditions\, and pers pectives. The symposium values the cross-disciplinary energy that emerges w hen these fields are brought into conversation.
Presentations will be delivered in English\, French and Spanish.

We welcome res earch from across the full spectrum of our department\, from literary and t heoretical inquiry to cultural analysis\, film and media studies\, linguist ics\, translation\, history\, philosophy\, migration\, digital humanities\, and ecocritical approaches\, among other related areas.
