Honours in French

This program is more highly specialized, and is designed for students with at least a good B average in both their French courses and their overall degree program. It provides the necessary background for graduate study and a particularly strong preparation for those intending to teach French at the secondary level.

The French Honours Program is not declarable. To enter it a student must:

•    Have attained third-year standing (54 credits completed)
•    Have maintained a good B average
•    Have completed FREN 220, FREN 221 and FREN 223
•    Apply directly to the Major and Honours Advisor in French, Dr. William Winder, either in person or by email.
