Graduate students who are required by their program to demonstrate reading knowledge of French, Spanish or Italian, can do so by completing an examination to be held on two occasions during the academic year. For the 2017-2018 academic year, these dates are:
Friday, 15 September 2017
Friday, 12 January 2018
From 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Buchanan Tower 898
Departments with candidates for either examination should send a choice of two readings in the specialized field for each candidate or group of candidates, along with the candidates’ names, to the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies no later than one week before the examination.
Material for candidates in Spanish should be marked to the attention of Dr. María Carbonetti (firstname.lastname@example.org), for French to Dr. Michael O’Hagan (email@example.com), and for Italian to Dr. Carlo Testa (firstname.lastname@example.org) .
