Maria Benimeo is the Visiting Lecturer appointed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

After her university studies, she specialized in Modern Language Teaching and received a Ditals Degree (Teaching Italian as Foreign Language). An Italian, Latin and English secondary school teacher for 25 years, she has also been a teacher trainer (general teaching, foreign language teaching, teaching with technology, librarianship) and a study adviser. She has been engaged in projects aimed at tackling school dropouts and favouring the integration of immigrants and people with disabilities; she also has promoted and organized cultural exchanges between EU schools.
